Microprocessor II Lab


Brief Description:This lab has various types of microprocessor, micro controller trainer kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of microprocessors.


 

  • Equipment Details:

    Apparatus: Trainer Kits:8085,8086,8051, Interfacing modules, MASM, NVIS programmer, PLC, Cross assembler, Universal programmer

DSP Lab


Brief Description:To Design Entry and simulation of combinational logic circuits,sequential circuits etc. Test bench creation, functional verification, and concepts of concurrent and sequential execution is highlighted.


 

  • Equipment Details:

    Apparatus: Universal VLSI Base Board, Xilinx, Cadence, FPGA kit, Microwind 3.1 User: 15, Networks Lab: To create scenario and study the performance of different protocols, network and verification of different algorithms through simulation.

Network Lab


Brief Description:To provide exposure to the students with hands on experience on various of networks.

    Apparatus: PC’s, L -sim, N- sim, LAN trainer system, Data communication trainer, Networks simulation and learning resource software, wireless LAN, Lab view software

Microwave and Optical Lab


Brief Description:In this microwave lab characteristics of klystron power supplies, Gunn power supplies and microwave wave guides like directional couplers etc. can be studied.


 

  • Equipment Details:

    Apparatus: Klystron power supply with bench setup, Gunn power supply with bench setup, VSWR meter, Fiber optic Trainer kit- Digital link performance & mode characteristics of SM/MM optical fiber, Microwave power meter.

M.E. Communication and System Lab


Brief Description:In this lab experiments like Channel equalizer design using MATLAB, Antenna Radiation Pattern measurement, Transmission line parameters,Performance Evaluation of digital modulation schemes,Digital Data Transmission through Fiber Optic Link Simulation of Audio and speech compression algorithms, Image coding algorithm, Microstrip Antennas,S-parameter estimation of Microwave devices. Study of Global Positioning System, etc. can be done.

    Apparatus: IE3D, MATLAB, PCAAD, AMS Trainer Kit, RF signal source, GPS positioning training system, Video link trainer, Vector network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Basic micro strip training system, Transmission line Analyzer, Fiber optic trainer kit

MODROB Lab


Brief Description:Aims to modernize and remove obsolescence so as to enhance the functional efficiency. In addition to above major objectives, the equipment installed through MODROBS can be used for indirect benefit to Faculty / Students through Continuing Education programmes, Training programmes for local industry and consultancy work.

    Apparatus: High Temperature Furnance Temperature Range Upto 1300c

Embedded systems lab


Brief Description:a specific type of programming that supports the creation of consumer facing or business facing devices that don’t operate on traditional operating systems the way that full-scale laptop computers and mobile devices do.

    Apparatus: ARM 7 -LPC2148 kit, Interfacing modules, KEIL µ vision-5, Proteius
